Night Teacher is the project of singer-songwriter Lilly Bechtel, whose haunting voice and poetic lyrics weave elements of doom-folk and alt-rock to create an experience that listeners have described as part seance, part lullaby. Her sophomore album, Year of the Snake, will be released October 31st, 2025.

Lilly is also a published poet and certified, trauma-informed yoga instructor with 15 years of experience offering creative mindfulness workshops.
