Night Teacher is the project of Lilly Bechtel, whose haunting voice and poetic lyrics weave elements of doom-folk and alt-rock to create an experience that listeners have described as part seance, part lullaby.

Lilly is also a writer and trauma-informed yoga instructor with 15 years of experience leading creative mindfulness workshops.
